ALBERTO V E N Z A G O
Photo-journalist Alberto Venzago has shot magazine stories about everything from wars in Northern Cambodia and Beirut to the stripped rainforests of Borneo. He has published several books dealing with such subjects as the revolution in Cambodia, child prostitution in the Phillippines and organized crime in Japan.

Venzago spent years with the Magnum Agency and is the winner of many prestigious awards, including the Robert Capa ICP Award. His pictures have appeared in magazines such as Life, Time, National Geographic, Stern, The Independent Magazine, Geo and the Sunday Times Magazine.

As a film maker, Venzago has won several national and international awards, including the 1998 New York Film Festival Award in gold for the anti-racism campaign of the Swiss Confederation, as well as the 1997 New York Film Festival Award in silver for his Tibet campaign.
